HAWAIIAN PORK CHOPS

INGREDIENTS/
› 2 tbs of oil
› 8 pieces of SAN FRANCISCO DS SMOKED PORK CHOPS
› ¼ cup of chopped onion
› 1 tbs chopped garlic
› 1 cup pineapple in syrup
› 2 tbs Worcestershire sauce
› 1 tbs of mustard
› 1 tbs of ketchup
› ¼ cup ground chipotle pepper
› 1 tbs cumin
› 16 slices of pork ham
› 8 slices of pineapple
› Salt and pepper

 

INSTRUCTIONS
1. In a frying pan seal the pork chops with oil until they have a golden
color then remove them from the pan. Using the same pan: add the onion and garlic, cook for a few minutes then add the pineapple syrup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, ketchup, chipotle and the cumin. Cook for 5 minutes.
2. Put the pork chops back into the frying pan and add ham and a slice of pineapple on top of each chop, then cover them with the sauce.
3. Cook for another 3 minutes and serve.
