BEER EMPANADAS

INGREDIENTS
› 2.2 Lbs. of flour
› 1 Lb. of SAN FRANCISCO DS LARD
› 1 beer
› 3 tbs of baking powder
› 1 jar of pineapple jam
› ½ tbs of sugar

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Heat the lard until it melts, then place in a container and add flour,
beer, baking powder and sugar. Knead into a smooth dough.
2. Form small balls and flatten them with a rolling pin.
3. Once flattened, fill them with pineapple jam molding the empanada.
4. Preheat the oven to 302°F, place the empanadas in pre floured and
greased baking trays.
5. Place the trays in the oven for half an hour or until they’re fully cooked.
